Style is something that is very unique and personal to all of us, and that goes for styles in gardens too. There are a variety of different garden styles to choose from, and even within those styles, there are a lot of personal touches that can be made.
You might even pick and choose elements from a combination of styles to make your own unique style – that's the beauty of designing a garden, there are no right or wrong answers. Cohesion doesn't always have to mean that everything matches and fits perfectly, sometimes cohesion can be about finding the perfect blend and making it yours.
Eco-friendly Garden
Eco-friendly is a phrase that is quite open to interpretation. Some people see eco-friendly, or environmentally friendly gardens as upcycling and repurposing, using natural products or generally being mindful of your consumption habits and shopping sustainably.
We believe that shopping sustainably is a great way to consider the environment, without compromising on style. It's very easy to get caught up in the newest trends and find yourself replacing things that are still in good condition, simply because you no longer like last year's trend. That's why we believe in quality handmade wooden garden furniture, which is not only classically-stunning and timeless, but it's also durable and made to last.
The other great thing about wooden garden furniture is that it makes a really good base for what ever style you're wanting to create. By simply redecorating and accessorizing your wooden garden furniture you can create a multitude of different looks and designs to your garden. You could even choose to hunt down some lovely second hand cushions and other outdoor decorations to continue working with your eco-friendly mindset.

Japanese Style Garden
Our lovely Japanese Style Garden Bridge, was inspired by beautiful Japanese Gardens. We believe that Japanese Gardens are a lovely concept, which are often based around a miniaturized view of nature. Traditionally, in Japanese Gardens, each item represents something; such as rocks representing mountains, or islands and ponds representing lakes or seas. However, some people also believe the the elements of the garden represent concepts instead, such as white sand representing purity.
Either way, the idea of a Japanese Style Garden is to focus on relaxation, meditation or reflection; sounds like the perfect place to unwind.
Floral Garden
It's in the name – floral gardens are all about embracing nature's beauty and charm. The great thing about a floral style garden is it can be further tailored to your style preferences. If you like all things bright and bold then Sunflowers or Sweat Peas would be perfect. If your style is more low-key and classic, then choosing Gardenias or Baby's-breath could be best for you. With floral gardens, it's also important to look at what else you are putting in the garden, whether than be other plants, decorations or garden furniture.
Our top tip for floral gardens is to choose a range of flowers and plants that bloom at different times of year, to ensure your garden looks beautiful all year round.
Rustic Style Garden
There is something to be said about rustic charm. If you look up rustic gardens then it's highly likely you'll be greeted with a wide array of lovely wooden furniture. Wooden garden furniture is what we specialise in and that's why rustic style gardens are definitely one of our favourites.
One of our favourite things about a rustic-style garden is that it can involve as much or as little upkeep as you want. It's one of those styles where if the shrubs overgrow a little, or the flower beds get a little unruly then it adds to the character of the garden.
In terms of furniture, we actually have a few products based around the rustic style including our Rustic Low and High Rail Garden Bridges, our Wooden Rustic Garden Seats and our Rustic Rose Garden Arch.
